Background: Lauren Kaufmann, MA, LCMHCS of The MIndful Planner is working towards her Perinatal Mental Health Counselor Certification through Postpartum Support International (PSI) after experiencing a variety of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMAD) through her pregnancies and postpartum periods, as well as experiencing significant feeding challenges. She is wanting to support other parents in navigating similar challenges that she faced so that they can grow into the parent that they want to be.
Lauren Kaufmann, MA, LCMHCS has obtained a certificate in Marriage & Family Counseling along with her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Appalachian State University in 2011. In 2019 Lauren took a 40-hour course in supervision and obtained her Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor license.
